Movies on the Lawn: Alamo Drafthouse Naples presents JURASSIC PARK at Mercato

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, coming to Mercato, will present an outdoor screening of the movie JURASSIC PARK on Tuesday, March 19, at Mercato for its monthly series, Movies on the Lawn.   The screening begins at 7:45 p.m. on the event lawn. Prior to the movie, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema will present dinosaur-themed activities from 6 to 7 p.m. including a dinosaur egg hunt, dinosaur race and face painting, as well as giveaways of custom drawstring bags and bandanas for families to enjoy.   In Steven Spielberg’s massive blockbuster, paleontologists Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler and mathematician Ian Malcolm are among a select group chosen to tour an island theme park populated by dinosaurs created from prehistoric DNA. While the park’s mastermind, billionaire John Hammond, assures everyone that the facility is safe, they find out otherwise when various ferocious predators break free and go on the hunt.   The monthly Movies on the Lawn event is free, but those planning to attend are asked to RSVP through the event Facebook page: https://fb.me/e/6lkeWK2Bz   Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for the most comfortable viewing experience.
