20th Annual Bootstrap Boogie Barn Dance

Naples Therapeutic Riding Center Celebrates Two Decades of Country Charm and Community Impact

NAPLES, Fla. — Saddle up! The Bootstrap Boogie Barn Dance returns this fall, inviting the Naples community to kick up their boots for an evening of Western charm, live music, and philanthropy in support of Naples Therapeutic Riding Center (NTRC).

On Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, from 5 to 10 p.m., cowboys and cowgirls are encouraged to don their boots for the 20th anniversary of NTRC’s signature fundraiser. The event raises critical funds to support life-changing equine-assisted programs for children and adults with physical, social, and emotional challenges.

Presented by Health Care Logistics, the barn dance has brought the Naples community together for two decades to celebrate connection, charity, and the healing power of horses. “For 20 years, the Bootstrap Boogie Barn Dance has fueled memorable experiences, connection, and transformative growth at NTRC,” said Michelle Schweber, Executive Director of NTRC. “It reflects the strength of our community and the deep impact of our herd. Every sponsor, volunteer, and guest plays a role in the lives we serve, and we welcome you to help carry this legacy forward.”

Guests can enjoy live country music from the Joel Fry Band, along with two-stepping, square dancing, and line dancing under the stars. Dinner is provided by Jaime’s Catering, and attendees can try their hand at cowboy-style activities including mechanical bull riding, Pony Pie Bingo, a sharp-shootin’ gallery, and roping station.

A highlight of the evening is the “Meet the Herd” experience, offering a tour of the barn, opportunities to visit the therapy horses, and a chance for photos with the gentle animals central to NTRC’s mission. The evening also features an open bar, live and silent auctions, and giving opportunities through Fund-a-Need and Sponsor-a-Rider initiatives.

All proceeds benefit NTRC’s year-round programs, including therapeutic riding, occupational therapy, equine-facilitated psychotherapy, and other ground-based programs, which serve more than 800 individuals annually. The organization relies on more than 460 trained volunteers and partnerships within the community, including a traveling mini horse team.

This year, NTRC also celebrates a perfect score during its PATH Intl. Premier Reaccreditation, reflecting the center’s commitment to safety, professionalism, and excellence.

What started as a small, grassroots gathering has evolved into one of Naples’ most cherished community events, raising vital funds to improve the lives of children and adults through equine-assisted services.
