A Blossoming Legacy: Paula Pryke's 30 Years in Floristry

For over three decades, Paula Pryke has been a trailblazer in the world of floristry. Her simple yet elegant style has not only captured the hearts of individuals but has also been favored by visionary architects like Norman Foster and Zara Hadid. Long-standing partnerships with esteemed clients such as Chanel, Armani, and Sotheby's showcase the enduring appeal of Paula's floral creations.

From a humble flower shop in Islington, London, established in 1988, Paula's ambition and love for flowers propelled her into a global phenomenon. Her work spans continents, including Europe, North America, and Asia, with 9 shops in London and Birmingham, UK, and a collaboration with Samsung in Seoul, Korea.

A Blooming Career: Paula Pryke's Global Impact

Paula's influence extends beyond retail, as she has built a massive flower contract business and an enviable events department. Within three years of opening her first flower shop, Paula secured a publishing deal, leading to the release of 18 books on floral art. Her publications, translated into numerous languages, have established Paula as the best-selling floristry author with Rizzoli in the US for over 25 years.

In recognition of her revolutionary contributions to the British flower industry and her global impact, Paula Pryke was awarded an Officer of the British Empire (OBE) in June 2014.

Educator and Consultant: Paula Pryke's Floral School and Collaborations

Responding to the success of her first book, 'The New Floral Artist,' Paula established a Flower School in Islington in 1994. The school became a magnet for florists and enthusiasts worldwide, showcasing Paula's commitment to sharing her expertise.

Paula's influence also extends to major supermarkets in the UK, John Lewis Retail, Dulux Paints on Color, Crystal Cruises, The World Residence at Sea, and several super yachts. Her consultancy work reflects her versatility and expertise in various aspects of floral design.
