NAPLES, Fla.— A new culinary destination is set to debut in Southwest Florida this fall, as Violí, a modern Greek restaurant by Chicago-based DineAmic Hospitality and world-renowned chef Athinagoras Kostakos, prepares to open at Mercato Naples.
Violí Greek Restaurant, coming this fall to Mercato, will bring the bold, sun-soaked flavors of the Aegean to Naples with a menu focused on simple, elevated Mediterranean dishes that celebrate fresh ingredients and centuries-old culinary traditions.
Created as a tribute to Greek heritage, Violí reflects Kostakos’ passion for blending innovation with authenticity. The restaurant aims to capture the essence of Greek culture—highlighting its deep-rooted hospitality, emphasis on family-style dining, and the joy of sharing meals made with love and care.
The soon-to-open concept will feature a vibrant mix of fire-grilled meats, fresh-caught seafood, house-made spreads, and garden-inspired small plates. The setting is designed to transport guests to a coastal taverna, blending rustic charm with contemporary elegance.
This marks the first Florida venture for DineAmic Hospitality, known for its award-winning concepts in Chicago. With Violí, the group is bringing its signature hospitality to Mercato’s thriving culinary scene, aiming to create a space where locals and visitors can gather over timeless Greek flavors and warm ambiance.
Located at 9118 Strada Place, Violí is expected to open in fall 2025. For updates, menus, and reservation announcements, visit tavernavioli.com or follow @tavernavioli and @mercatonaples on social media.
