NAPLES, Fla. — An intimate evening of music and storytelling on Naples Bay helped raise $50,000 this month for veterans, military families and children in need during the inaugural Nash to Naples: A Night on the Naples Princess Songwriter Showcase and Auction.

The sold-out event, the first of two Nash to Naples gatherings planned this season, brought music lovers aboard a luxury yacht at sunset for live performances and behind-the-scenes stories from Nashville songwriting legends. Proceeds benefited Home Base Florida and Hacienda of Hope.

Songwriters Bob DiPiero and Craig Wiseman headlined the evening, sharing the stories behind some of country music’s most recognizable chart-topping hits. They were joined by recording artist Tyler Hubbard, who stepped in at the last minute following a family emergency involving one of the scheduled performers. Hubbard, co-founder of the iconic country duo Florida Georgia Line, has earned 23 career No. 1 songs, including four consecutive No. 1 singles as a solo artist.

Organizers credited the success of the fundraiser to strong support from sponsors, attendees and auction donors. The total was bolstered by a last-minute contribution from Hubbard, who matched the winning bid on one of the signed guitars auctioned during the event.

The showcase served as a preview of the organization’s flagship event, the 5th Annual Nash to Naples Songwriter Fest, scheduled for Jan. 24, 2026, at Cambier Park in downtown Naples. The outdoor festival is expected to draw thousands for a day of live music and community support benefiting local and regional charities.

Sponsorship packages and premium seating for the January event are now available at NashtoNaples.com.
