Osteria Tulia Honored with Prestigious 2025 DiRoNA Award of Excellence

In a significant achievement for Naples’ ever-evolving fine dining scene, Osteria Tulia—the beloved Italian-inspired restaurant helmed by Chef Vincenzo Betulia—has been awarded the 2025 Award of Excellence by the Distinguished Restaurants of North America (DiRoNA). The honor places Osteria Tulia among an elite group of fewer than 1,100 establishments recognized since DiRoNA’s founding in 1990. It also marks the only Naples restaurant to receive the coveted distinction this year.

Founded in 2012 and nestled in the heart of downtown Naples along the iconic 5th Avenue South, Osteria Tulia has long been praised for its dedication to rustic Italian cuisine, its deep-rooted culinary heritage, and a welcoming atmosphere that blends sophistication with soul. Receiving the DiRoNA Award not only validates its reputation but propels the restaurant into the national spotlight.


According to DiRoNA CEO Scott Breard, Osteria Tulia was evaluated on criteria including menu execution, wine list quality, and overall ambiance. “Osteria Tulia earned a place among North America’s best,” Breard said. DiRoNA’s award program celebrates restaurants that go “above and beyond” in their food, beverage programs, and service standards, recognizing excellence across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean.


This recognition is the latest in a streak of accolades for Chef Betulia’s Campagna Hospitality Group, which operates several of Naples’ premier dining establishments including The French, Bar Tulia 5th Avenue, Bar Tulia Mercato, Rouge Steakhouse, and Tulia Catering. Recently, Wine Spectator named The French one of its “top rising star restaurants in the world of wine,” while Gulfshore Life spotlighted Rouge Steakhouse as one of Naples’ best new restaurants in 2024.


Osteria Tulia is particularly renowned for its use of locally sourced and seasonal ingredients, with a menu that pays homage to the centuries-old Italian osterie—rustic taverns offering handcrafted regional specialties. House-made cheeses, sausages, and pastas pair effortlessly with a thoughtfully curated wine list and classic-meets-innovative cocktail offerings.
