NAPLES, Fla. — Southwest Florida’s most beloved holiday traditions are set to return, bringing lights, music and community spirit to the city’s streets, gardens and waterfront this season. From the historic charm of Third Street South to the sandy shoreline of 5th Avenue Beach, locals and visitors can expect a full lineup of festive events throughout December.
Third Street South will kick off the season Nov. 24, drawing crowds for its annual tree lighting celebration. Street closures begin at 3 p.m., followed by the arrival of Santa at 6:15 p.m. The official tree lighting and first snowfall of the evening are scheduled for 6:20 p.m., continuing a long-standing Naples holiday tradition.
At the Naples Botanical Garden, the popular Johnsonville Night Lights in the Garden will run Nov. 28 through Jan. 4. The immersive display transforms the garden into a glowing winter escape, featuring illuminated walkways, seasonal music and family-friendly experiences.
Seed to Table will host a series of holiday meet-and-greets with Santa and The Grinch on Dec. 14, 21 and 22 from noon to 3 p.m. Guests can enjoy complimentary digital photos during the event.
On Dec. 5–6, 5th Avenue South will offer open-air street dining at participating restaurants. Reservations are required, and more details are available through the official website. The popular dining nights typically draw strong attendance for seasonal shopping, entertainment and al fresco experiences.
The City of Naples Christmas Parade returns Dec. 9 from 6:30 to 8 p.m., featuring floats, performances and community groups as they make their way through downtown streets.
Holiday celebrations conclude on the coast as residents and visitors gather to spend Christmas Eve at 5th Avenue Beach, a cherished Naples tradition blending seasonal cheer with the city’s signature Gulf-front calm.
