NAPLES, Fla. — Acclaimed restaurateur Paul Fleming and his wife, Jody Goodenough-Fleming, founder of Paul Fleming Restaurant Group, are expanding their restaurant brand portfolio with the relocation and addition of the West Coast concept Paul Martin’s American Grill.
Founded in 2006, Paul Martin’s American Grill currently operates five locations in California, one in Arizona, and has recently opened its newest location in Texas. Jody Goodenough-Fleming said the expansion brings the brand to their Florida management team and positions it for continued growth.
“We are delighted to bring the Paul Martin’s business to our talented Florida management team, expanding our enterprise and preparing this brand for future growth,” Goodenough-Fleming said. “We love our local community and are proud supporters of the entrepreneurial spirit and pro-business environment embodied by the Sunshine State.”

Paul Martin’s American Grill, named after founder Paul M. Fleming, is known for elevated American classics featuring seasonal produce, high-quality seafood and meats, and housemade sauces and marinades. Each location features an elegant yet comfortable ambiance and a vibrant bar with an acclaimed Happy Hour.
“Paul Martin’s warm hospitality, upscale yet relaxed environment, and hand-crafted comfort food is what guests are looking for in their neighborhoods today,” Paul Fleming said.
The Flemings are investing heavily in their Florida brands, including The Lake Park Diner, PJK Neighborhood Chinese, and Paulitas’ Taqueria, focusing on technology and people resources to support continued growth. Over the past year, the group opened a second Lake Park Diner in North Naples and a second PJK Neighborhood Chinese location in Coconut Point, Estero.

“We know this business is all about people, and we have built a talented team focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences, delicious food, and providing our restaurants and corporate office with investment in new technology and systems to support future growth,” Goodenough-Fleming said. “We are very proud of the collection of brands we support and the amazing associates operating our restaurants each day.”
