NAPLES, Fla. OluKai, a premium Hawaiian-inspired footwear brand, has opened a new retail store along Fifth Avenue South in downtown Naples, marking its 13th storefront nationwide and the 28th retail location under its parent company, Archipelago Companies.

The 1,233-square-foot store, located at 762 Fifth Ave. S., officially opened Feb. 13 and features the brand’s full range of men’s and women’s footwear, including sandals, sneakers, slippers, boots and golf shoes. Archipelago Companies also owns melin, Roark and Kaenon.

To mark the opening, OluKai will host a grand opening celebration from 3 to 6 p.m. on March 7. The event will feature live entertainment, including music by local DJ EVRSOL, coconut-inspired beverages, an interactive oyster bar experience and complimentary tote bags with purchase.

As part of the celebration, the company said it will donate 100% of net proceeds from March 7 sales to the Conservancy of Southwest Florida, a nonprofit organization focused on protecting the region’s water, land and wildlife.

“A crown jewel of Southwest Florida, Naples combines Old Florida elegance with modern luxury for an elevated lifestyle,” said Kerry Konrady, chief marketing officer of OluKai. “Fifth Avenue sits at the heart of the city, lined with a curated mix of upscale boutiques and acclaimed dining destinations. This community is the ideal setting to showcase OluKai’s unique blend of Hawaiian-inspired storytelling and thoughtfully crafted footwear.”

The new location reflects the brand’s “Anywhere Aloha” philosophy, which encourages living with kindness and purpose. Store design elements draw parallels between Hawaiʻi and Southwest Florida’s Gulf Coast, incorporating features inspired by fishponds, shells, coral and coastal ecosystems.

Interior details include warm coral tones and soft blues symbolizing the meeting of freshwater and saltwater, shell-textured walls, coral tile and lava stone finishes. A central blue column represents the convergence of wai (freshwater) and kai (saltwater). Custom light fixtures resembling fish nets and reeded glass accents further highlight themes of sustainability and coastal heritage.

Shell-inspired countertops and ceramic coral art created in collaboration with South Florida artist Beatriz Chachamovits complete the space. The design aligns with the Hawaiian principle “E Mālama Oe I Ka ʻĀina, E Mālama Ka ʻĀina Ia Oe,” which translates to “Take care of the land and the land will take care of you.”

Founded in 2005 and inspired by the islands of Hawaiʻi, OluKai has expanded beyond its signature leather sandals to include everyday shoes, boots and slippers. Through the Ama OluKai Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the company supports organizations dedicated to preserving Hawaiian culture.

OluKai is also a Certified B Corporation, a designation held by fewer than 5,000 brands worldwide, reflecting its efforts to minimize waste in production, manufacturing and distribution.

Store hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
